Why volunteer?
Whenever we participate in a cleanup event around a body of water, we are making the water safer for all of us. The Kalamazoo River and surrounding watersheds eventually reach Lake Michigan, one of the largest freshwater resources in the world.
…. Your efforts go a long way, as you connect with nature and form bonds with your fellow volunteers and the community.
- All ages are welcome to participate in this family-friendly event. For younger kids the “walking on shore” choice is the best option for safety.
